The Sustainable Education & Employment Fund (SEEF) is a collaborative effort initiated by various stakeholders from Meru, Isiolo, and Tharaka Nithi counties. Administered by The DMK Foundation and The Airlift SACCO (TAS), SEEF supports the educational and professional aspirations of residents in these counties.
SEEF offers relocation loans for individuals pursuing nursing programs or jobs abroad. It opens doors to international opportunities while uplifting communities through education and employment.
Nursing is a high-demand, well-paying career in the USA. Accelerated Nursing programs are second undergraduate degrees offered in over 30 U.S. universities, enabling graduates from other fields to transition into nursing. Programs are fully funded and typically last 12–24 months.
Beneficiaries repay relocation loans at a 10% interest rate while studying, then contribute 10% of their monthly salary for 36 months after graduation. This sustains the fund and supports future students.
Applicants must be native residents of Meru, Isiolo, or Tharaka Nithi and:
An application fee of Ksh 5,000 is payable via M-Pesa Paybill to DMK Foundation - TAS Account.
SEEF aims to expand into tuition loans for students pursuing nursing and healthcare careers abroad.
